Its so humiliating when a bluff goes wrong.

Part 2:
Never mind the fact that a fundamental part of the game is trying to misrepresent what you are holding and confuse your oppt to get more money in the pot when you are ahead. Acting strong when you are weak, acting weak when you are strong. Trying to induce a call, trying to induce a fold. Is that not lying to some extent?
Congrats on playing a tourney without bluffing, I guess. Not sure why you mention it
A bluff isn’t a lie? It’s a bet saying, I have a better hand than you, fold.

So you think I know nothing about the game of poker because I talk about wanting to take edges where I can find them?
I’d argue Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow are a couple of the best known poker players and constantly use their mouth to disrespect and insult their oppt’s. That’s honor? That’s Etiquette? Hevad Khan and his antics 2 years ago were honor? Etiquette? People who try to mis-call hands to get their oppt’s to fold. Honorable?

Lol whats so special about this vid? He propably just made the bet to try to find out how strong his opponents would’ve be. if he had pushed all-in at the river, THEN we could talk about a bluff gone wrong.

If u know anything about poker, (which i expect u dont, because of the content of ur post indicated) you would know that there is alot of respect and etiquette in poker.
Its not all about lying at all… I have played a whole tournament without bluffing… And a bluff isnt a lie anyway…
Its a bet saying, i dont think ur hand is good enough to call this amount.
Poker is a hard game, which i think u cant grasp. that is why u disrespect it

Its what the idiot gets, for semi-bluffing a 3 player hand, with a freaking gutshot…
It should teach the diick a lesson

all you “experts” ragging on vahedi, for all farha knew vahedi had pocket six’s
,its a lot easier to decide what to do when you are looking at everyones cards on a tv,
if you had lost over a half a million the hand before you would probably be on tilt too…….

Hell, at that point, he should’ve just went all in.

Not everything…. But why do you play Poker? If it’s for fun, then thats cool because you’ll never drop the 10k to play in the WSOP. If you are like the 99.999% of people, you play because you feel you have an edge and can make money at it.
Honor in a game that uses lying as a significant component of it? Honor in a game that has angle-shooters at most live tables? Honor in a game that has cheating as part of it’s ingrained history and is portrayed that way in films classically? Please..

thanks for restating what is said in Harrington on Hold’em.

Actually not a wrong play by Vahedi, he called on the flop just to bluff the turn. He could put Sammy Farha on air (his standard flop C-Bet represents no actual hand really), and Moneymaker on a draw. The turn 6 didn’t look like a card that could have helped anybody, so Vahedi took a shot at the pot which might have worked 50% or more of all times, this time however it didn’t and he looked stupid. The play itself hower was actually pretty smart.

this hand is mentioned in Harrington on Hold’em. Very nice try, but also very well played by Sam

Eh, the Illuminati is run by reptilian kin known throughout history as Djinn, Nagas, Kappa, Demons, Dragons, Devils, Dracul, Windsors, Rothschilds etc. that rule the inner circles of Freemasonry and do foul sex&torture rituals. They’ll probably release a bird flu virus via vaccines(or by drones), go to internet 2, start WW3 w/China, have a staged alien invasion(2010) to get a microchipped pop/world gov but they will fail.
